This 7.5 hour course provides a minimum level of first aid training as
required by the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Legislation for
limited, low hazard occupations or workplace environments, such as offices
or administration sites only.
Included in the content of this course are emergency scene management,
shock/unconsciousness/fainting, choking (adult), cardiovascular emergencies and
one-rescuer CPR (adult), severe bleeding, medical conditions (diabetes,
seizures, asthma and allergies) eye injuries, burns and wound care.
St John Ambulance National Certification valid for three (3) years is awarded
upon successful completion of this course.
