H2S AWARENESS
This 4 hour, theory only, course was designed to compliment
the safety training programs within fire departments, manufacturers, food
processors, municipalities and construction industries.
Topics of discussion include: What and Where is H2S,
Alberta OHS Legislative Requirements and Due Diligence, Properties and Likely
Locations of H2S, Effects of H2S Exposure, Atmospheric
Testing for H2S, Controlling Exposure to H2S and Emergency
Preparedness and Response.
This safety training program fits nicely into half day or
evening schedules.
This program is not recommended as pre-requisite safety
training to employment in the petroleum industry (see H2S Alive
Course Description).
Upon successful completion of a written examination a
certificate of training is issued.
