This 4 hour, theory only, course was designed to compliment the safety training programs within fire departments, manufacturers, food processors, municipalities and construction industries.

Topics of discussion include: What and Where is H₂S, Alberta OHS Legislative Requirements and Due Diligence, Properties and Likely Locations of H₂S, Effects of H₂S Exposure, Atmospheric Testing for H₂S, Controlling Exposure to H₂S and Emergency Preparedness and Response.

This safety training program fits nicely into half day or evening schedules.

This program is not recommended as pre-requisite safety training to employment in the petroleum industry (see H₂S Alive Course Description).

Upon successful completion of a written examination a certificate of training is issued.
