individuals and organizations dedicated to increasing awareness
and promotion of safety and health in our community.
The Committee efforts for 2008 is an invitation
especially to "front-line workers" to one of three "INJURY TO
INSPIRATION" Safety Motivational Speeches on MAY 1ST

different presentation times to choose from, Admission is FREE and a
limited number of "gift bags" will be given out at each presentation.

awareness of health and safety within our community. Canadian support and
promotion of NAOSH (North American Occupational Safety & Health)
Week is lead by the CSSE (Cdn. Society of Safety Engineering) and
partners with a general theme: Safety & Health; A Commitment for
Life! Start Today! Live it Every Day! The specific
themes for 2008 are Focus on Hazards, Using Safe Guards and
Safe Gear, Follow Safe Work Practices and Look Out For Yourself and Others.
The logo of 3 hands represents Canada, USA and
Mexico partnering to focus the attention every May, of
employers, employees, the general public and health and safety professionals
on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home
and in the community.
